Package Master User Manual
The Package Master is where you standardize your travel products. Create reusable itineraries and pricing templates to speed up your quotation process.
1. Introduction
Instead of manually typing itineraries for every new request, you can save your most popular routes as templates. When creating a quote, simply link these packages to populate the data instantly.
2. Key Features
- Rich Itinerary Builder: Create day-by-day plans with detailed descriptions and inclusions.
- Master Pricing: Set base rates that can be adjusted later during quoting.
- Package Cloning: Duplicate an existing package to create variations (e.g., 3-Day vs 5-Day version).
- Visibility Control: Manage packages as Active or Inactive.
- Centralized Updates: Change a package once, and the updated version is available for all future quotes.
3. How to Use the Package Module
3.1 Search & List Packages
- Go to the Package Master section.
- Search Bar: Search by Package Name or Destination.
- Status Filter: Quickly find packages that are active or hidden.
- Draft Management: See which packages are still under development before they are used in client quotes.
3.2 View Package Details
Click the "View" (Eye Icon) on any package. The page shows the full product: name, duration, destination, price, status, day-by-day itinerary, terms, inclusions, exclusions, and activity history. The layout is a main column (left) for header and itinerary, and a right column for inclusions, exclusions, clone action, and timeline.
Sections on the Package View Page:
The following sections appear in order. Terms & Conditions only appears when terms have been entered.
Package Header & Summary
The first card uses the Package Name as the title. Below: optional Package Description (overview). Then a row of summary items: Duration (X Days / Y Nights), Destination, Pricing (₹ base price), and Status (Active or Inactive) with a badge. Use this to see at a glance what the package is, where it goes, and whether it’s available for quoting.
Detailed Itinerary Plan
Day-by-day breakdown. Each day shows a day number, Title (e.g. “Day 1 – Arrival”), and Description (what happens that day). If no itinerary is set, “No itinerary details available” is shown. This is the content that can be reused when the package is linked to a quote.
Terms & Conditions
Shown only when terms have been entered. Displays the package’s terms and conditions (payment, cancellation, or other policies).
Inclusions
In the right column. Bullet list of what is included in the price (e.g. accommodation, meals, guided tours). If none are set, “No inclusions specified” is shown.
Exclusions
In the right column. Bullet list of what is not included (e.g. tips, flights). If none are set, “No exclusions specified” is shown.
Quick Actions & Recent Activity
In the right column. Quick Actions contains the Clone Package button to create an exact copy. Recent Activity is the timeline: when the package was created, updated, status changes, or deleted. Each entry shows date, time, and user. Use View Full Activity History to see the complete log. This matches the “Package Update History” / “Product Audit Trail” described below.
Action Buttons (top of page):
Generates a PDF of the package (itinerary, inclusions, exclusions) for sharing or printing.
Change Status
Open a dialog to set status to Active (visible for quoting) or Inactive (hidden).
Clone Package
Creates an exact copy of the package (also available in Quick Actions). Use for variations (e.g. 3-Day vs 5-Day).
Edit
Update name, destination, days/nights, description, itinerary, price, terms, inclusions, or exclusions.

Marks the package as Deleted and removes it from the master list. This action cannot be undone.
Package Update History:
Each package has its own record of modifications:
Product Audit Trail:
- Version Tracking: Shows when the itinerary was last updated.
- User Log: Records which staff member created or edited the product details.
- Usage Stats: Identify how many times this package has been converted into a quote.
- Status Timestamps: Log of when the package was activated or retired.
